Concerns grow for detained Angolan activist

In Angola, there is growing concern about a detained rights activist’s health. José Marcos Mavungo was arrested in March for alleged crimes against the security of the state. Mavungo was arrested for planning a demonstration outside a Catholic church. Mavungo was vice-president of a banned rights group known as Mpalabanda in Cabinda.
