On 9 December 2022, TransSwati, in partnership with Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC), will launch a policy brief on legal gender recognition in Eswatini titled “Legal gender recognition in Eswatini – an analysis of law and policy in the context of international best practice”. The report is intended to inform advocacy and guide legal reforms on legal gender recognition in Eswatini.
The launch aims to disseminate the policy brief to members of the trans and gender non-conforming community, local stakeholders, and regional and international partners and get recommendations for advocacy and future collaborations.
