Open Call for Organisational Development Grants – Sex Worker Rights CSOs

SALC is excited to announce its open call to support emerging civil society organisations in Southern Africa through organisational development grants.

This open call for concept notes seeks to address the impact of Covid-19 on social justice organisations in the region.

This Open Call is an invitation to sex worker rights CSOs in the following countries to submit concept notes: Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

This call focuses on community-based organisations that:

  • Promote the rights of sex workers through advocacy and legal empowerment initiatives; and/or
  • Engage with police to ensure policing practices respect sex workers’ rights

The application period will be open from 3 December 2021 to 31 January 2022. Applicants are asked to download the concept note form and send the completed form and supporting documents to grants@salc.org.za with the subject “Grant Application for SALC2 (name of your organisation).”
