Daniel Digashu is a passionate advocate for mental health and LGBTQIA+ rights as he lives both realities. He is a litigant in a case where he was denied immigration status on the basis that his same-sex marriage was concluded outside of the country and therefore, not recognized under Namibian law. He is currently pursuing studies in Psychology through the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP), to better serve and help marginalised communities.
