Chikondi Chijozi holds a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law which she obtained in 2017 at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the Chancellor College, University of Malawi and has been practising law in Malawi for the past 8 years.
She joined SALC in March 2020 and she is responsible for the criminal justice program. She is based in the SALC Malawi Office. She is also a Commissioner of the Malawi Human Rights Commission.
Before joining SALC she worked as the Deputy Executive Director and Litigation Manager for Centre for Human Rights Education, Advice and Assistance (CHREAA).
