The Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC) filed written submissions in the Parliament of Eswatini. The  submissions were filed with the Clerk of the ICT Portfolio Committee. In the submissions, SALC called upon the Parliament of Eswatini to make a number fundamental changes to the Bill.

For and on behalf of SALC, Sibusiso Nhlabatsi appeared before the  Parliament of Eswatini Portfolio Committee on ICT on 28 October 2020. This follows an invitation extended to SALC by the Clerk to the Portfolio Committee to appear before the Committee to make oral submissions on the Computer Crime and Cybercrime Bill. Earlier on 13 October 2020, SALC presented written submissions on the Bill. In a short briefing to SALC about his appearance, Nhlabatsi stated that the Committee appreciated the submissions and mentioned that the Committee will reach out should they need further clarity.
