Maseko and Makhubu were arrested on 17 and 18 March respectively. The two have been kept in detention at the Sidwashini Remand Centre since appearing in chambers before Chief Justice Michael Ramodibedi on 18 March. Makhubu initially applied for bail in the High Court last Friday but was remanded back into custody after the State indicated its intention to oppose bail.
