SALC Undertakes an Advocacy Training Workshop

SALC in conjunction with the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa convened an advocacy training workshop in Johannesburg from 8-9 December 2011. The training covered the latest techniques on advocacy and advocacy strategy tools, and participants were afforded an opportunity to share their advocacy experiences. Advocacy undertaken to save the SADC Tribunal from continued suspension was used as a case study with participants being asked to contribute to the development of the “Save the SADC Tribunal” campaign.
